Call Of Duty 5 : World At War
M9A1 Bazooka x2 is a Tier One Perk that gives the player a M9A1 Bazooka and two rockets. It is effective as an anti-personnel and anti-tank weapon. It becomes available at level 4. When hit directly by a bazooka's rocket the player can expect to be killed, and the splash damage from the rocket can send a player to near death conditions. So use it in a very enclosed space, but don't include yourself in it though. Note that the bazooka is entirely different from Call of Duty 4's RPG-7 because it is far more reliable at long distance, comes equipped with a scope instead of a iron sight, and does not involve crazy spiraling. Its accuracy is a good bonus seeing how tanks can sometimes be extremely far away and though it will spin at long distances, accuracy is still guaranteed. Most people consider this perk "Best Last Resort" weapon if it is used against people, although it can easily be remedied with the Flak Jacket perk.
It is recommended to use this weapon overall for a dedicated Anti-Tank class, as you do not need to bum rush a tank to place a Satchel Charge, but instead fire at long ranges. It is recommended to hit the flanks of the tank or the engine (the back) of the tank, as any forward shot is definitely weaker than a critical hit. At least 5-6 normal shots are needed to kill a tank. Sticky Grenades speed up the process. About 3-4 critical hit spots will down a tank. Altogether, about 4-5 rocket shots and one Sticky will kill a tank, while 3 critical hit shots and one Sticky will also kill the tank quicker. You can either die by the tank to come back to life with another set of Bazookas and a sticky grenade, or you can tell another ally to shoot the tank with theirs, but normally you will need up to three allies trying to take the tank down together.
