The PSG1 is a "Classified" weapon, unlocked after the Dragunov,WA2000 and L96A1 are bought. This classification makes it less common than the other sniper rifles.
The PSG1 has high recoil, a small magazine, longer than average reload and a firecap, all while having the same damage as the Dragunov and WA2000. Some of these flaws can be mitigated by attaching Extended Mags and using Sleight of Hand. The PSG-1's redeeming value is the fastest scope reset speed of any sniper rifle. It uses a crosshair reticle with thicker crosshairs than on the other rifles.
